why is walking home considered dangerous

'kay, so my mom was really pissed for some reason when i volunteered to go get my friend from school tomorrow so she could come to my house. i dunno why its dangerous.

maybe because you could get abducted

that's possible, but not very likely.
i guess you could also get run over by a car

again, possible but not likely.
and like always, you could trip on a rock, fall down, whack your head, and die.

i don't know. there's millions of possibilities, and all of them not likely to happen. ugh.
